Couldn’t recommend more highly
We stayed at Amatara Wellness Resort for our honeymoon and were absolutely flown away by how beautiful the resort was. Our pool villa was so stunning, all the design details of the room and resort as a whole are emaculate. The private beach is a wonderful element to relax in serenity & the healthy restaurant was available for complementary breakfast which was delicious. A free cocktail on the roof at sunset to top off your day & the amazing, accomodating and friendly staff that make you feel like family – This Resort is worth every penny & minute spent there.
This resort is unique being that it is centred around wellness. It is far from any main attractions of phuket but the hotel offers a shuttle for an extra cost. We had a few issues with our room but got a free upgrade straight away from the manager at the front desk, she was extremely helpful and apologetic. The staff made the experience special, we developed friendships with a few of guys at the restaurant because we went there so often, which made our dinners fun. The spa is beautiful, although very costly. The food at all of the restaurants is beautiful, definitely not cheap like the street food but that is what you get when you stay at a luxury resort. I can’t fault Amatara and i really enjoyed me stay, perfect for a restful, recharging getaway.
Amazing Relaxing Holiday
Amatara exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in they made us feel like VIPs. It is an absolutely beautiful resort with well maintained facilities and gorgeous views. Our room (sea view) was huge, with a comfortable bed, and free mini bar. The resort offers many classes (yoga, boxing) and you get the first class free. We also utilized their spa (which is more expensive than going out of the resort, but it was incredible!). They offered free transportation around the resort which was always quick and convenient. There are also a lot of restaurants and spas outside of the resort and we went out everyday. It was nice to have the option to leave the resort for a change of scenery, but also to save some money on food and spa services. We had a late flight out (midnight) and they let us utilize a room for free for the evening after we had checked out of our room. Overall it was perfect
Gorgeous resort, good for a relaxing retreat away from the city. The only down side is that it’s located an hour’s drive away from the airport, and the food available at the resort is focused on being good for the body, and not really on taste.
